A key source of inspiration for Trendy is performance. Having been deeply involved in Brighton’s music scene, Trendy now channels this experience into a bold and dynamic photographic practice. Regularly working with emerging bands in the studio and capturing the raw energy of live gigs, Trendy collaborates closely with Brighton’s leading music universities, WaterBear and BIMM. They are also the go-to photographer for BN1 Arts, a Brighton-based 16+ performing arts college, documenting their electrifying live events and shows.

Trendy takes pride in a versatile studio portfolio, spanning creative portrait sessions, industry-standard headshots, and experimental artistic collaborations. By working with local artists, they push boundaries to explore abstract and unconventional visual concepts.

Despite only starting their photographic journey in late '23, Trendy has rapidly honed their craft, growing a strong client base and making it to the finalist stages of multiple prestigious competitions.

Closing a successful first year in October '24, Trendy hosted their debut solo exhibition, HOT GLUE, as part of 2024’s Photo Fringe. This showcase celebrated Brighton’s vibrant artistic community through Trendy’s lens, featuring a collection of striking portraits, many of which sold. The launch party at Brighton Rocks bar in Kemptown was a packed-out success.

Always evolving, seeking new challenges, and forging creative partnerships, Trendy is available for long-term collaborations and regular gigs in Brighton and the surrounding areas.

They may also be available to travel and tour, capturing both onstage energy and behind-the-scenes moments for performers and musicians on the road.
